**Description**
The Business Support Specialist has responsibility for helping to drive key business projects in support of the Unsecured Lending and Cards businesses. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to participating in the new initiative governance process, delivering support to new partnerships, daily tracking and deliverables of ongoing strategic priorities and initiatives.
+ Ability to take business needs/wants and translates those needs into measurable requirements that can be successfully implemented and adopted for products expansion
+ Works as a liaison with senior managers on the unsecured lending and cards team to ensure strategic deliverables are executed monthly/annually.
+ Support in the development of business cases to be presented at change committee
+ Supports efforts as required to manage change initiatives through CFG Governance process
+ Helps to drive alignment among individual, business units & corporate objectives by delivering meaningful business solutions
+ Partners with a variety of stakeholders from line manager to senior manager to deliver development solutions that drive individual and team success
+ Works to identify improvements to business processes/rules to enhance the customer experience, mitigate risk and identify revenue/expense improvement opportunities.


+ Produce regular and ad hoc management reporting and analysis for:

+ Executive business line reviews
+ Weekly production meeting
This role will have close partnership responsibilities with Marketing, Business Performance Management/Strategy & Analytics, Risk Management, Compliance, Legal, Operations, external vendors, Strategic Partnerships and Vendor Management. A key requirement for this position is partnering with the other areas of the business to understand consumer feedback to inform decisions and change initiatives, and to scope and prioritize appropriate opportunities.

+ Bachelor's degree in applicable field
+ Skilled in Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel with advanced skills in PowerPoint.


+ 2+ years in one or more of the following areas and/or functions:

+ Consumer loan products
+ Product management
+ Finance
+ Vendor Management
+ Business Support
**Competencies** **:** A strong focus on the customer experience, working in cross-functional teams
+ Produce regular and ad hoc management reporting and analysis for executive level review
+ Meticulously detail oriented
+ Strong prioritization skills and ability to quickly re-prioritize in a dynamic environment, manage multiple project at the same level of detail
+ Organized, controlled, engaged, polished meeting management
+ Excellent oral/written communication with ability to effectively communicate with customers, peers, internal partners, external partners, and executive management
+ History of successfully driving multiple co-occurring and/or co-dependent tasks to completion.
